Spring in Christchurch

I braved the frosty Christchurch morning and went on a run/walk. It was wonderful running past steam rising above the serene streams at Mona Vale Gardens and Hagley Park, and the early blooming daffodils.
The real bonus was noticing the bird song cheering me along as I plodded! You see, I’m normally listening to some old artist or another when out and about.
I left my headphones behind as a tribute to a magnificent book that I’m reading - The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry.
It was a beautiful morning.
